A new 12-month incubator program aims to assist Australian migrant-led start-ups in accessing the rapid-growing Indian market.
The Big LEAP Incubator program, a partnership between Arrow Digital and La Trobe University and funded by AusIndustry, will include in-person and digital workshops, personalised mentoring, and more.
It is open to all first and second-generation Australian migrant business founders with a tech-focused business idea and product post-seed stage.
“As a first-gen migrant to Australia myself, I know how hard it can be to build a professional network and an international business from the ground up,” wrote Jasmine Batra, co-founder and managing director of Arrow Digital, while announcing the program on LinkedIn.
“I’m so delighted to be in a position where I can share the knowledge and experience gained working with driven entrepreneurs and innovative business leaders over 18 years of living in this wonderful country and network of partners spanning government organisations, innovation hubs, investors in my birth-country.”
The program aims to help 40 participants (split across two cohorts) to sharpen their go-to-market strategy, test new markets, and build a much-needed base for long-term success.
Six participants will get the opportunity to visit India as part of a fully-funded Immersion trip in late 2023 to test their offering in the high-growth market.
Applications for the Big LEAP Incubator program close on 30th April 2022. Learn more here.
